Description: This heatran makes an excellent wall-breaker/revenge killer. Specs overheat is facking epuc! Overheat ohko's standard dusknoir, defensive zapdos, jirachi, celebi, some togekiss, and many many other annoying physical walls, as well as putting a large dent into incoming gyarados and salamence, and taking a good 1/3 of blisseys hp on the switch-in. Darkpulse is there because u can use it on celebi when you arent sure if your opponenet has heatran, and it doesnt lose power like overheat does. Earthpower and dragonpulse are self-explanitory.

Life Orb on Heatran is a brilliant idea if you ladies can't see it yet ;D. Max Speed here ensures you outspeeds Max Speed Gyarados by one point and deliver the fatal blow with HP [Electric]. Fire Blast deals massive damage to those who don't resist it and can 2KO Salamence after Stealth Rock. Earth Power is for those who resist Fire Blast (Like Heatran itself) and rounds out coverage very nicely. If Blissey comes in to ruin your fun, Explode right in her overly-joyful-for-her-weight face. Because of certain KO's Stealth Rock provides, it'd be good to run a Stealth Rock'er with this particular Heatran.

This is a completely differnet heatran desinged to take out special walls, the idea is to switch this in on a special wall, and they will stay in assuming a scarf e.g cradily, blissey, snorlax, tyranitar, then you spam an iron head and take out the poke with a choice banded attack on the oponent, or they will switch to a ghost to take an explosion. Iron head also hits swithc ins expecting a special fire move and end up with a physical stabbed iron move, earhtquke is instead of earth power, and fire fang for more stab, but stone edge gives better type coverage. I would suggest overheat though, thanks to jude, because most pokemon weak to fire have higher defence than special defecbe. Then a choice banded explosion will ensure you go out with a bang. So you lead with a shock, and end in a bang, this is like a specs physical attacker, but the other way round, I have neaver seen the set before, and I think heatran is the best poke for the job with it's high special attack to fake a special movepool and decent attack to surprise the foe.

The set ain't great leave your comments on improvements/ scrapping it altogether

How about instead of Fire Fang or Stone Edge you put Overheat?
