If you use a rom, the Battle Recorder and a computer screen recorder (eg Camstudio) for battles then the files are pretty small (Around 14MB) So they only take about 10 minutes to upload. When I recorded with my Webcam they took 2 hours because the filesize was about 400MB.

But this is just for battles mind you..
