| ...Disco Lucario! Yeah. You thought I was going to say "infernape", huh. Firstly, I Have no idea why I called this "burn baby, burn". It has nothing to do with burning.
INTRODUCTION
Well, some may know me as sealseel on friendcodes.com, I'm pretty well known around the RMT section. I usually base my teams around one poké. Here. Lucario. This is an OU team in an OU world. Changes in italics.
NIDOQUEEN @ Focus sash / Leftovers? Mrs. Nido Impish nature Poison Point ability The Toxic Stealth rocker 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Def -Stealth Rock -Toxic Spikes -Earthquake -Fire blast
I love this opener. She uses Stealth Rock AND toxic spikes for boosted Pwn4ge. Earthquake is for a powerful move with good accuracy + STAB, it also takes out lucario openers. Fire blast for steel hunting, as I like to call it. Now Focus Sash or leftovers? Hmmm... Anywho, on to...
LUCARIO @ Life Orb Dark Mojo Adamant nature The Swords Dance Leader 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Inner Focus ability -Swords Dance -ExtremeSpeed -Close Combat -Crunch
Credit to the guys at Smogon for this one. For me an adamant nature fast fighting type just rhymes with Swords Dance. Out of Ice punch, Crunch and Stone edge, I chose Crunch. Why? Because this set is absoultely useless against ghosts. Without crunch, a level 1 gastly could crush Lucario. A little copy-paste will explain the awesomeness of this set.
Damage Calculations
Close Combat vs. max HP / Def Skarmory 84.4% - 99.7% Close Combat vs. max HP / Def Bronzong: 95.2% - 100% (67% chance to OHKO) Close Combat vs. max HP / Def Hippowdon: 75.7% - 89.3% Close Combat vs. max HP / Def Forretress: 79.7% - 93.8% Close Combat vs. max HP / Def Donphan: 82.0% - 96.9% Crunch vs. max HP / Def Cresselia: 63.5% - 74.8% Crunch vs. max HP Cresselia: 85.1% - 100% (2.6% chance to OHKO) Crunch vs. max HP / Def Dusknoir: 88.4% - 100% (21% chance to OHKO) Crunch vs. max HP / Def Celebi: 78.7% - 93.1% Crunch vs. max HP / Def Rotom - Appliance: 100%

| I've never seen a nidoqueen user, plus Nidoqueen is a pure defensive type with no real pros to attack based stats. I would recommend Fortress because of its unique type. As well it can learn rapid spin. Also it probably be more your ally as a starter(if not go with a better lead, Roserade, for example)
I would sort of recommend Ice punch just to avoid any Ground types. Just to avoid the obvious earthquake. Also instead of Defense on Lucario. Give it to HP(IMO)
Seeing your damage calculations though it seems really good. But all the damage calculation is focused on Luacrio so that is why i suggest just making Nidoqueen a stall. Try teaching it other moves like substitute and a type of recovery move.(if it can learn it) give it black sludge as well so you can reserve more leftovers to other pokes. | |
